Work for solo oboe written at the request of John Stringer for the UYMP album Signals: An anthology of New Music for Solo Oboe ed. Melinda Maxwell and John Stringer (University of York Music Press, 2011). The work is about how a solo line can magically fill 'space' to give a sense of journeying beyond or outside physical limitations.
